We are excited to share this year’s information session, to help families in Grade 7 and 8 to get ready for secondary school!  The session helps you learn more about what a secondary school experience can look like in an HWDSB school.

Students and families can learn about what to expect in Grade 9, including information about course selection processes and timelines, Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirements, system programs at HWDSB, and more.

French Immersion is a proven way of acquiring excellent language skills in French. The French Immersion program at HWDSB is specifically designed for parents who do not speak French, but want their children to speak both official languages. The program is open to HWDSB students starting in Grade 1.

These awards support students through their first year of post-secondary and recognize overall academic excellence and community involvement.
